EDTECH

Government Adoption

The success of any EdTech implementation at scale in India depends on two crucial factors:

1) Buy-in and ownership of the EdTech program within the education department

2) The smooth and transparent procurement process for EdTech solutions

We work closely with central government and state governments to ensure effective EdTech procurement and adoption at scale.

Personalized Adaptive Learning Bluebook:

We have created ‘Implementing Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) at Schools: A Guidance Note for States’ to signal the commitment of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) and the Government of India towards developing the ecosystem for PAL in schools, and to support states who are interested in deploying it under the integrated ‘Use of ICT in School Education’ policy.

The recommendations in this guide are based on good practices drawn from early personalized adaptive learning solution deployment experiences in India, as well as from around the world. The guide covers why states should implement personalized adaptive learning solutions to enhance teaching and learning, and what could be done to ensure effective implementation across various stages. It offers advice on priority issues and on tackling practical difficulties, as well as risks, controversies or gaps in current knowledge.

Engagement with Chhattisgarh:

District Virtual Education Project:

CSF is supporting Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) on a one-year project aimed to implement the personalized learning solution from Mindspark in ~20 schools in two districts in Chhattisgarh. The project aims to gauge the feasibility of an implementation model with light-touch support to schools and teachers, which is more cost-scalable.

ICT@Schools Project:

The department of school education will roll out a tender to procure hardware, content for digital classrooms and PAL solutions for a period of five years. The current RFP asks for a single System Integrator (SI) to provide hardware, content and assessment solution through consortium partners, with a statewide enterprise license for giving access of personalized learning to all students of government schools.

CSF is supporting the state in procurement and roll-out of effective EdTech solutions such as personalized learning platform and digital content in 4,300 schools under ICT@School scheme.
