Bharat Survey for EdTech (BaSE) 2025 is the second edition of a first-of-its-kind, large-scale national survey by Central Square Foundation. It provides insights into access to and use of technology for teaching and learning among parents, children and teachers from low-income backgrounds in India. Conducted across 10 states, the second edition of BaSE surveys 12,500 households and 2,500 teachers from government & affordable private schools in Bharat on education-related themes pertaining to EdTech access and usage. In line with the India AI Impact Summit 2026‘s focus, this year’s report also features insights on AI awareness and use for teaching-learning.
