This qualitative study presents findings from a qualitative study on the implementation of foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) interventions in Uttar Pradesh, building on earlier research by Central Square Foundation (CSF) and the Centre for Social and Behaviour Change (CSBC). Focusing on on-ground realities in Sitapur and Hardoi, it explores teacher engagement with tools such as a WhatsApp chatbot and micro-practice videos and highlights key behavioural, infrastructural and system-level challenges influencing adoption and effectiveness.
