About half of all Fields Medalists, the highest honour in Mathematics, were once Mathematical Olympiad contestants. Yet fewer than one percent of eligible students ever participate in the first qualifying examination in India. The challenge is not a lack of talent, but a lack of exposure. This book brings together fifteen conversations with India’s finest mathematical minds including past IMO medalists and institution-builders, and maps what it takes to bridge the space between talent and opportunity.
